Welcome to MyPawtrait. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from us. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

MyPawtrait creates personalised pet portrait artwork and printed products.

2. Eligibility

By using this website and placing an order, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old; or

• You have permission from a parent or guardian.

3. Products & Services

We create personalised pet portraits using customer-supplied photographs and artistic editing techniques, including digital illustration and AI-assisted creative tools where appropriate.

All artwork displayed on our website is representative only. As each portrait is custom-made, colours, styles, and layouts may vary slightly.

4. Ordering Process

When placing an order, you agree that:

• All information provided is accurate;

• You own or have permission to use any uploaded photographs;

• You have reviewed your order carefully before checkout.

Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email. This does not mean your order has been accepted. Acceptance occurs when production begins or your artwork proof is issued.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders where:

• Images are offensive, unlawful, copyrighted without permission, or inappropriate;

• Payment cannot be authorised;

• There are pricing or technical errors.

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

Delivery charges are displayed at checkout before payment is completed.

Payment must be made in full before production begins.

We reserve the right to change pricing at any time without notice.

6. Personalised Products & Cancellation Rights

Because MyPawtrait products are custom-made and personalised to your specifications, they are generally exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Once artwork creation or production has started, orders cannot usually be cancelled or refunded unless the item is faulty or not as described.

If you wish to cancel an order before production begins, please contact us immediately at hello@mypawtrait.co.uk.

7. Artwork Approvals

Where a preview or proof is provided:

• Customers are responsible for checking spelling, image accuracy, colours, and layout before approval;

• Approval confirms acceptance of the design;

• Additional revision charges may apply for excessive amendment requests.

Minor colour differences may occur between screens and printed products due to monitor and print variations.

8. Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within the estimated timeframes shown on the website, but delivery dates are estimates only.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

• Couriers;

• Customs;

• Severe weather;

• Postal disruptions;

• Events beyond our reasonable control.

Risk in products passes to you upon delivery.

Under UK consumer law, goods should normally be delivered within 30 days unless otherwise agreed.

9. Faulty or Damaged Items

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, customers are entitled to products that are:

• As described;

• Of satisfactory quality;

• Fit for purpose.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

• Your order number;

• Photographs of the issue;

• A description of the problem.

Where appropriate, we may offer:

• A replacement;

• A repair;

• A partial refund;

• A full refund.

10. Customer Images & Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of photographs you upload.

By submitting images to us, you confirm that:

• You own the rights to the images; or

• You have permission to use them.

You grant MyPawtrait a non-exclusive licence to use uploaded images solely for:

• Creating your order;

• Customer service;

• Marketing purposes where permission has been granted.

All artwork, website content, branding, logos, graphics, and designs created by MyPawtrait remain our intellectual property unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Customers may not reproduce, resell, or commercially distribute artwork without permission.

11. Social Media & Marketing

We may share completed artwork on our website or social media channels unless you request otherwise.

If you do not want your portrait shared publicly, please contact us before production begins.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyPawtrait shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential losses;

• Delays outside our control;

• Loss of profits or business opportunities.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by negligence;

• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;

• Consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Website Use

You agree not to:

• Use the website unlawfully;

• Upload malicious software;

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website;

• Copy website content without permission.

We may suspend or terminate access for misuse.
